THE MILESTONES

1972
Due to the growing demand for the printing of Kompas Daily, Indonesia’s leading newspaper, Gramedia Printing was established.

1997
By implementing remote printing technology, Gramedia Printing became the first printing company in Indonesia able to publish and print national newspapers and tabloids, as well as the world-renown daily, The Wall Street Journal (Asia), simultaneously in several cities across Indonesia.

2005
Gramedia Printing, Cikarang site, was built with a focus to expand services to include specialized printing of high-quality magazines and books.

2006
The Gramedia Printing, Bandung location was established, thus enlarging the group’s production capacity for books and comics to 2.2 millions copies per day.
