    Gramedia Printing Celebrates 43 Years of Existence
    November 25th 2015 marked Gramedia Printing’s 43rd anniversary. As the biggest printing company in Indonesia, the day regarded as the happiest day for all employees. In order to cope with the enthusiasm, the company prepared lots of events, from blood donation, visit P.K Ojong’s tomb as one of Kompas Gramedia founder, to Tumpeng ceremony at Kompas Gramedia building.

Gramedia Printing Welcomed the Ministry of Education of Democratic Republic of Timor Leste

Gramedia Printing welcomed the Ministry of Education Democratic Republic of Timor Leste at Thursday, 21st May 2015, represented by Mr. Fernando da Costa Soares and Mr. Antonio Jose C. Da Cunha. Their intention to visit Cikarang site was to get in touch with printing industry in Indonesia. Mr. Sugeng Budi R., as Quality Assurance Cikarang, was delighted to welcome.

During 2 hours, both parties shared their knowledge as well as the current condition of printing industry in both countries. Furthermore, Timor Leste has a mission to develop printing industry in order to provide, at least, a free educational book for each student.

“We would like to learn from Gramedia Printing to develop printing industry in Timor Leste” said Mr. Antonio. That being said, the current condition in Timor Leste is they are lacked of competent human resources and need a lot of help from their closest neighbor. Also, the representative being given a plant visit and they thought that the infrastructure of Cikarang site has developed much better as well as the quality of human resources.

Regarding the visit, Mr. Sugeng said that the visit is the effect of positive word of mouth of Gramedia Printing. “This could be our first step to open new significant cooperation, both direct and indirectly” added Mr. Sugeng. This also could be considered as an achievement for Gramedia Printing because it was not the first time in receiving company visit from abroad.
